Kara-Oke I & II is a series of multi-media works for karaoke singers, live visuals, chamber ensemble and electronics, created as part of London Symphony Orchestra Soundhub Composer Residency

‘There are many elements in the conceptual idea of karaoke which resonate with me; its strange play on memory and nostalgia, the questions it raises about originality in the YouTube era, and the uncanny feeling of loss it suggests’
