Data corrections
If a yarn record disagrees with the label on your skein, please include:
- the brand and line name,
- the figure you believe is wrong and the figure you believe is right,
- a photo of the label or the manufacturer's product page, if you have one.
Corrections with a source are processed first. The label on the skein is treated as the authority.
Calculation problems
If a calculator returns a result you think is wrong, include the inputs you used and, if possible, the result you expected. Every tool page prints its formula, so it is usually quick to find where the arithmetic diverged.
What we cannot help with
We cannot troubleshoot a specific pattern, identify an unlabelled yarn from a photo, or provide knitting instruction by email. Those questions are better served by a local guild, a yarn shop, or the pattern's designer.
